Gurugram Police on Friday busted a prostitution racket which was being run within the guise of a spa centre and arrested its supervisor. Two ladies had been additionally detained after the raid on the spa centre positioned in a mall in Sector 51, however had been let off after questioning, police mentioned.
Police recognized the arrested spa supervisor as Yogesh Kumar, a resident of Karol Bagh in Delhi. The spa is owned by one Bhagat Singh, a resident of Sector 15. He’s but to be arrested, they mentioned.
SEX RACKET BUSTED
Following a tip-off, a group led by Assistant Commissioner of Police (headquarters) Abhilaksh Joshi despatched two males as decoy prospects, who paid Rs 2,000 every to the supervisor for the ‘service’. Thereafter, a raid was carried out and the accused was caught red-handed.
“The accused spa supervisor confessed that he was operating prostitution below the guise of a spa centre by charging Rs 2,000 per buyer. We’re conducting raids to nab the spa proprietor,” mentioned inspector Rajesh Kumar, the investigating officer and SHO of Sector 50 police station. The accused have been booked below Immoral Visitors (Prevention) Act, he added.
